Buddy Up Club is a club designed to give students with special needs an opportunity to make more friends and have more integration with their typical peers here at Chaparral. Students who sign up for the Buddy Up Club agree to volunteer some of their break and lunch times to spend time with the students in Mrs. Barrera’s class. It is always fun for the students as they do fun activities such as play games, read books, do puzzles, draw/paint, or just “hang out” outside with all the other students. It is truly a great opportunity for all involved, and the experience for club members lasts a life time. 

Buddy Up Club members meet every Friday at break to sign up to come in days for the following week. All grades are welcome to join, and applications are accepted all year long. If anyone is interested in joining, come any day during break and see Mrs. Barrera.
