The counselors at Chaparral meet the needs of our students by providing counseling support in the areas of personal/social, academics, and career development.

- Change of elective
- Missing classes or periods
- Request to be in or out of Design-Based Learning (DBL)
- Request for a higher math placement (Students will be taking an assessment within the first two weeks of school in their math classes. Changes will be made based on the assessment.)

What is the role of a School Psychologist?
School psychologists support students' ability to learn and teachers ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
